This is a staple for all of Siouxland. If you move away and come back for a visit, regardless of how short that visit may be, you always go here to get a fantastic lunch. Try the hot dogs with "everything" (mustard, onion, chili sauce) and I recommend a bowl of their homemade chili...yes, even in the summer time. It is just good wholesome food in a cozy little place.

My 10 year old found this place and insisted we try it. This being our first time, we walked in and were greeted by 4 gentlemen who were very helpful and friendly! Everything is a la cart style. The menu is posted on the board behind the counter with employees there ready to serve you quickly and efficiently! We loved the chili dogs, mustard, onions and chili on the hot dogs was so good!! Booth seating is avaliable inside with tables outside and even a walk up window!! So cute I thought! Very clean, comfortable with very respectful, polite and inviting staff there to help with whatever you need!! We will be coming back here again for sure! Our family of 6 all got at least 2 dogs per person, drinks and chips and it cost us under 63, for 6 people! That's a deal, and it was delicious food!!

It's a nice inexpensive place to eat. Good food at a reasonable price not much more that you can ask for. There was a pretty good line when we got there but it move quickly.

Decided to stop and sample a Milwaukee Weiner as we passed through Sioux City. The history brought us here. My husband ordered a chili dog with cheese and a Barker – I ordered a plain dog with mustard. Excellent hot dog dinner! The buns were soft but not doughy – the chili seemed homemade and wasn’t spicy – the kraut wasn’t too soggy. The service was excellent, friendly, and fast. The dogs were served on real ceramic plates. A dog is a dog – but these are the best we’ve ever had, and it was refreshing to get the kind of service that was rare even pre-covid. We dined during off-peak hours in a spotless dining room. While we were there – the window service was hopping. I'm not one to normally rave about hot dogs, but Milwaukee Weiner is the real deal. The history of the place is enough to bring in any hungry traveler, but the food, and service will keep you coming back.

Always a must stop while in Sioux City! The food is always consistent and has been perfected after decades of preparation. We always get chili dogs with everything and a bowl of chili. Be sure to get a fun drink while you are in. The old pictures, letters and calendars on the wall are fun to look at. So many years of history on the walls!
